I've been taking Opill 0.075mg Tablets for a few months now, and while it's been effective in preventing pregnancy, I've noticed some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I'm curious to hear from others who have tried this birth control pill. What have your experiences been? Has anyone else dealt with these side effects?

I switched to Opill from a combination pill and I've had severe headaches, so I'm going to try something else. My head felt like it was going to explode. I think it's the progestin.

This has been a good experience for me so far. I've had some acne breakouts, but nothing too bad. My doctor said it should clear up over time. My friend is on the pill and she swears by it. I will see how it goes for me.

I'm actually allergic to one of the ingredients in Opill, so I can't take it. Breakthrough bleeding was the least of my problems. Never mind, I'll stick with the patch.

My girlfriend's had a terrible time with Progestin birth control. She always had crazy migraines. She's trying a different method now.

I've been on Opill for about 3 months now, and initially I really did not like it. It was a new experience. I experienced increased hunger and vaginal discharge. I’m still taking it because I want to give it a fair shot. I did some research on the internet and decided to stick with it. It gets better over time.

Ask your doctor about it! They can provide personalized advice, although they likely won't suggest much. There are also longer-term contraceptives you might consider like the IUD. They don't require daily reminders.

I've been on Opill for about a year now and haven't had any serious side effects, but I did notice some spotting between periods for the first few months. It eventually went away, though! My doctor said this is pretty common when starting a new birth control. It's worth mentioning your experiences to your healthcare provider, as they might have tips to help you feel more comfortable.

I just started taking Opill and so far, so good! No side effects at all, but I've always had pretty good luck with hormonal birth control. Fingers crossed it stays this way!

I switched to Opill from a combination pill and I've had consistent bleeding. I have to use pads all the time. See if your doctor can prescribe a different pill.
