I started taking Paxil 10mg Tablets a couple of months ago for my anxiety and OCD. I've been on it for long enough to have a good handle on how it affects me. I'm having a mix of positive and negative experiences and I wanted to start a discussion to see if others have had similar experiences. Initially, I felt like it helped calm my nerves and I could handle my daily routine much better. I was more relaxed and the panic attacks seemed to have decreased in frequency. However, I've noticed some side effects like fatigue and dry mouth which can be quite irritating at times. My psychiatrist says these are quite common but it's still a bit tough to deal with them daily. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar side effects and how you dealt with it. Also, I've been thinking about trying to come off the medication and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to do that safely and effectively.

My experience with Paxil has been pretty good. I've had some dizziness and nausea at the start, but it got better with time. I've also noticed that it has helped with my panic attacks a lot. I think it's definitely worth trying if you're struggling with anxiety. Just be patient with yourself and your body.

I think it's important to remember that Paxil can interact with other medications, especially those that affect serotonin levels. Always be cautious about mixing medications and consult your doctor if you're unsure.

I've been on Paxil for a few months and I've had some pretty intense dreams. It's almost like my brain is trying to process a lot of stuff at once. It's weird but not really bad. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've been on Paxil for a few years now and I can definitely relate to the fatigue and dry mouth. My doctor suggested using a mouth or spray to help with the dryness. It's not perfect, but it's manageable. As for coming off the medication, it's best to do it gradually under medical supervision. Sudden discontinuation can cause withdrawal symptoms that are no fun. Be patient and work closely with your doctor.

I've heard that Paxil can cause a bit of a brain fog for some people. I've been lucky not to experience it too much but my friend swears it's the worst side effect for her.

Has anyone else experienced weight loss while on Paxil? I've lost about 10 pounds in the past month and I'm not sure if it's the medication or just my diet.

I feel like Paxil has really helped with my OCD symptoms. I used to spend hours washing my hands and now I can manage it much better. It's not a cure, but it's definitely an improvement in my quality of life. I hope the side effects get better with time, but so far, it's been worth it.

Don't forget to report any side effects to the FDA. It helps them track the safety of medications and make necessary adjustments. Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor.

I switched to Paxil from another SSRI and I felt the side effects were much more manageable. I did have some sexual dysfunction issues, but it seemed to stabilize after a few months. I think it's important to track your symptoms and keep your doctor informed. They can adjust your dosage or switch you to something else if the side effects are too much to handle.
