I was recently prescribed Prazosin 1mg Capsules to help with nightmares related to my PTSD. I've heard it can help, but I'm also a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else tried this medication for the same reason? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Side effects worry me, especially the more severe ones. I’ve read that it can cause allergic reactions, and even more seriously, an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours. I'm not too keen on either, but my doc says the benefits might outweigh these risks. What do you guys think?

I've noticed some improvements in my mood and energy levels, but I've also experienced some side effects that I didn't expect. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I've been dealing with dizziness and sweating, which can be pretty uncomfortable. Also, I'm curious how long it typically takes for the side effects to lessen?
