I've been prescribed Prazosin 2mg capsules for high blood pressure and have been taking them for a few weeks now. I've noticed some mild dizziness and fatigue, but nothing too severe. However, I'm curious if anyone else has experienced side effects like headaches or upset stomach. Additionally, I've heard it can be used off-label for PTSD-related nightmares. Has anyone here used it for that purpose and, if so, what was your experience? How do you manage any side effects? Any advice would be appreciated!

I read about the priapism side effect and it's terrifying. I’m glad I haven't experienced it, but it's something to be aware of.

I've been on Prazosin for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. Just be careful, the first few days I had some severe dizziness but it got better.

I take it for high blood pressure and it works like a charm. I have to be careful about when I take it because it makes me sleepy. I usually take it before bed.

I’ve been on it for a while now and haven’t had any severe side effects. Just a bit of dizziness here and there. It’s worth it for the blood pressure control.

I got really bad hives with it, had to stop taking it. Others seem okay, but clearly, it doesn't work for everyone.

I started taking it for PTSD nightmares, and it's made a huge difference. No more waking up to nightmares every night. The dizziness was a bummer, but it was worth it.

I wish the side effects were not so common. I am constantly drowsy and tired. Any tips on how to manage this?

I actually found it helped with my enlarged prostate symptoms as well. Definitely talk to your doctor if you think it might help with that.

I just started taking it and have been feeling really weak. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?
