I've been prescribed Pregnyl (Chorionic Gonadotropin) 10,000 Unit Mdv, 1 Vial for fertility treatment. Has anyone taken this and can share their experience? What are the side effects I need to worry about? I've read about some serious ones, like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) and blood clots. Are these common, and how can I manage them? Any tips on dealing with injection site pain or headaches? I want to be prepared for all scenarios before starting this treatment. Also, for those who have used it for testicular issues, how was your experience? I've heard it can help with testosterone and sperm production, but I'm curious about the long-term effects. Any advice is appreciated! Has anyone had issues with fluid retention or other less severe side effects, and how did you manage them? Does anyone know if the side effects go away once you stop taking the medication? I'm really anxious about starting this, so any insights would be helpful.

I was prescribed Pregnyl for low testosterone. I noticed some changes in my mood and had a few headaches, but nothing too severe. I did gain some weight, but it went away after I stopped the medication. Make sure you follow your doctor's instructions and report any changes in your body.

This stuff gave me a rash right after the second injection. Well always check for allergic reactions, right? Rushed back to the doctor and he had me stop immediately. Have an epinephrine pen on deck.

I had to take Pregnyl for IVF. The injections were tough, but I managed the pain with a bit of ice. The headaches were the worst, but paracetamol helped. I didn't experience any serious side effects, just some mild bloating and weight gain. But it was worth it, as we finally got pregnant on the third cycle. Good luck!

My wife had some serious side effects and finally quit after two rounds of trying. It was honestly a nightmare with all the symptoms. If you're going to try it, really discuss all the options with your doctor. She experienced some of the worst side effects including the weight gain, trouble breathing and severe bloating and stomach pain. We had to move towards other options.

I was on Pregnyl for a few months and it helped a lot with my fertility issues. Just be prepared for some emotional ups and downs. Stick with it and get your doctor to help you manage the side effects. My wife finally got pregnant on the third round and we have a beautiful baby girl now.

I used Pregnyl for undescended testicles. It helped a lot, but I did notice some mood swings and irritability. Definitely talk to your doctor about managing any emotional changes.
