I got terrible constipation from this. I had to stop using it and switch to something else. Be aware that this is a common side effect with codeine.
This stuff works well for relieving coughs and clearing stuffy noses. I’d rather not take it because I don't want to get dependent on it.
I never had any major issues with this. I did some extensive reading on it and made a list of things to watch out for. It's all about moderation. Follow the dosage, and don't mix with other meds causing similar side effects.
I'm a bit worried about the severe allergic reactions listed. Has anyone experienced anything like that, or is it really rare? I'm thinking of trying this but need to be prepared.
I took this last winter and it was a lifesaver. My cough went away within a day or two.
I experienced some dizziness and fatigue, but it was manageable. I found that taking it in the evening helped me sleep better, but I had to be careful with activities the next day. The relief it provided was worth it for me.
I had some severe drowsiness on this. I recommend taking it before bed and skipping driving that day. I took it while sick and it helped a lot, but it's easy to overdo it. Don't mix it with other meds causing similar side effects. Also, look out for the Codeine. You can easily get dependent on it! Dangerous stuff!
Be careful with the codeine. It's a strong cough suppressant, but it can be highly addictive if not used carefully. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions to the letter and don't take more than prescribed.
