I've been prescribed Procardia 10mg Capsules (Nifedipine) to help manage my high blood pressure and occasional chest pain. The medication has been a game-changer, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. Has anyone else experienced significant side effects, and how did you manage them? I've heard a lot about the potential for dizziness and flushing, but I'm also concerned about the more severe side effects. How worried should I be about these rare but serious complications? Let's share our experiences and tips for dealing with this medication. Remember, always consult with a healthcare professional if you have concerns.

Serious question: how does this stuff work? Like literally, how does nifedipine relax blood vessels?
I got prescribed this but I'm still on the fence if it is worth it. Although I don't think it's a good idea to mix drugs but the off chance that it could help me is there.
I've been on Procardia for a while now, and the only side effects I've noticed are some mild dizziness and flushing. It's manageable, and the benefits are worth it.
I wish more people talked about the severity of the side effects. The flushing can be really embarrassing.
I take Procardia and have noticed some mood swings, which is weird. I wonder if it's the medication.
My mom takes Procardia and has had no issues. She said it's helped her a lot with her angina.
Anyone else feel like they're walking around with a perpetual hot flash? Flushing is the worst.
I was really worried about the severe side effects, but my doctor assured me they are rare. Just keep an eye out and report anything unusual to your doctor.
Always take it with food if you can. Helps with the upset stomach.
