Proctocort 1% Cream: A Game Changer for Hemorrhoids? My Experience and Thoughts
I was recently prescribed Proctocort 1% Cream for some persistent hemorrhoids, and I have to say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The cream has definitely helped with the swelling and itching, but I've also experienced some side effects like burning and stinging. After doing some research, I found out that these are not uncommon, but I'm still a bit worried about the more serious side effects mentioned in the medication guide. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Proctocort? How did you handle the side effects, and did you end up taking any additional precautions? I'm curious to hear other people's experiences and any advice they might have.

I had a bad reaction to a steroid cream a few years ago. Proctocort was fine for me this time around, but if you know you’re sensitive to steroids, maybe try something else first.
I've used Proctocort a few times and found it really effective for hemorrhoids. The burning sensation does suck but it goes away quickly.
Did anyone else feel like they were getting an allergic reaction? I had some redness and swelling around the area.
I don't think it's worth the risk. Hemorrhoids are a common issue and there are plenty of natural remedies that might work just as well without the side effects.
I had a similar experience with the burning sensation, but it was nothing compared to the relief from the itching and swelling. Just be consistent with the application and it should work out.
