I've been taking Requip XL 8mg tablets for about six months now to manage my Parkinson's symptoms. The extended-release feature has been a game-changer, as I only need to take it once a day. However, I've experienced some side effects that I'm concerned about. I've had episodes of excessive sweating and dizziness, which can be quite disruptive. I've also heard about the potential for more severe side effects, like hallucinations and sudden sleepiness, which is really worrying. Has anyone else had these experiences? Any tips on how to manage the side effects would be greatly appreciated. I'm also curious about how others are finding the medication overall and if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks for them.

I wish more people would talk about the hallucinations. I only had them for a couple of weeks but I didn't realize it was a side effect. Learn from my experience, talk to your doctor.

I've had some really strange urges since starting this medication. It's kind of embarrassing to talk about, but I think it's important to raise awareness.

I take Requip XL and also have sudden sleepiness. My doctor told me it's not that uncommon, but it's still a bit unnerving. Why does this happen? Is it serious?

I'm on Requip XL too, and the dizziness has been a real issue for me. My doctor suggested taking it with food, which has helped a bit. Good luck!

I think the benefits of Requip XL are worth the side effects for me. My tremors have significantly improved, and that makes a big difference in my daily life. Just be vigilant about the side effects and talk to your doctor.
