I've recently been prescribed Xanax 0.25mg tablets for my anxiety and panic disorders. I've heard a lot about the potential side effects, both serious and minor, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice or shared experiences. How long did it take for the medication to start working for you? Any tips on managing the side effects? I'm particularly concerned about the serious side effects like allergic reactions and mood changes. Has anyone had to deal with these? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Xanax for a few months now, and it's made a world of difference for my panic attacks. The first week was tough with dizziness and drowsiness, but that eventually subsided. Just be careful with the dosage and stay in touch with your doctor.

The first time I took them, I felt super relaxed, almost too relaxed. I had to keep myself hydrated. It's like my body didn't know what to do with the meds.

I took Xanax for a while and it helped a lot with my anxiety, but I noticed some weight gain and changes in my appetite. I had to balance it with a better diet and exercise routine, but it was worth it to feel more in control of my anxiety 24/7. Just a heads up. The side effects are tough, but it may be worth it in the long run. Keep an eye on it and consult with your doctor.

I had some really bad side effects at first, like severe dizziness and memory problems. I actually had to switch to a similar medication. My advice is to listen to your body and if something feels really off, don't hesitate to talk to your doctor.

I noticed that Xanax can mess with your sleep patterns. I had some really vivid and odd dreams at first, but that went away after a couple of weeks. I think it was worth it to eventually feel better.

I'm really glad to hear that it's working for some of you. I've been really hesitant to start because of the potential for allergic reactions and depression. Any advice on how to monitor for these side effects?

I had some really nasty mood swings. I would go from feeling super happy to being totally depressed in a matter of minutes. It was crazy. I had to really keep an eye on my mental health while taking it.
