I've been taking Esbriet 267mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my IPF. So far, I've noticed some improvements in my breathing, but I've also experienced some side effects. I'm particularly interested in hearing from others who are on this medication. What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? Also, how has Esbriet affected your daily life? If you have any tips on dealing with the side effects or improving quality of life while on Esbriet, please share! What are doctor’s recommendations?

Yes! To any new user here, avoid sunlight and make sure to understand the signs and symptoms of a side effect. I had a friend who dismissed some symptoms and ended up in the hospital.

Esbriet has been a game-changer for me. My lungs feel better and I have more energy. I take it with a light snack and avoid caffeine, which seems to help with the nausea. Just make sure to take it consistently and stay in touch with your doctor.

If anyone is considering Esbriet, talk to your doctor about all the potential side effects. It's important to be informed. My advice would be take it on time and start by 267mg tablets then move up. My doctor said to do this

I've noticed some changes in my urine color which could be a sign of liver issues. Anyone else experienced this? Please comment.

Esbriet is a miracle drug! My breathing has improved so much, and the side effects are manageable. I just wish the cost wasn't so high.

I heard to avoid the sun like the plague while on this med. True?

I've been lucky with minimal side effects so far. Just some mild dizziness and fatigue, but nothing I can't handle. I've heard that drinking plenty of water can help with some of the side effects. Maybe give that a try!
