I was recently prescribed Enoxaparin 120mg/0.8ml Syr 10x0.8ml to prevent blood clots after surgery. The medication is an injectable anticoagulant that helps reduce the ability of your blood to clot, which can prevent serious conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE). It's given as an injection under the skin, usually in the abdomen. I'm documenting my experience here in case anyone else has questions or concerns about this medication. Has anyone else used this before? I'd love to hear about your experiences, whether good or bad.

I switched from warfarin to enoxaparin and the difference is night and day. No more constant blood tests and the injections are a breeze. Just be mindful of the side effects, especially the bleeding risks.

My doctor told me not to worry about the injection site bleeding. Just apply pressure for a bit and you'll be fine. It's actually a good sign that the medicine is going in properly.

I had to use Enoxaparin after a knee surgery. The injections were pretty easy to do once I got the hang of it. Just make sure to pinch the skin properly and use a new syringe each time.

I heard enoxaparin can cause some nasty reactions if you're allergic. Just be cautious and keep an eye out for any weird symptoms.

How do you handle the pins and needles feeling after an injection? It drives me crazy!
