I've been using Sodium Bicarbonate 10gr Tabs for a while now to manage my heartburn, and they've been a lifesaver. The tablets work quickly to neutralize stomach acid, and I've noticed they've helped with my overall indigestion. However, I recently came across the possible side effects, especially the allergic reaction symptoms. It's a bit concerning. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? I want to be prepared in case something comes up. The thought of swelling or trouble breathing is scary and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to manage this risk. I'm also not sure if my doctor would know how to help me if I report side effects. Has anyone else talked to their doctor about this?

Allergic reactions are rare, but it's good to be cautious. If you experience any symptoms, go to the ER right away.

I think this medication is super useful for when you have a dinner party and you want to avoid feeling bloated.

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't know about these side effects. I'll be sure to keep an eye out!

I went to the ER for trouble breathing once, it was scary and ended up being panic attack. It's sort of hard to tell.

I use them for my urine pH, it's a bit cumbersome but it helps so much. Just be careful and watch for the signs.

I've been taking these for years and never had any issues. But I always keep an eye out for allergic reactions just in case.

I had some mild itching once, but it went away after stopping the tablets for a day. I didn't think much of it then, but maybe it was an allergic reaction. Now I'm worried.

I just take Tums now instead. Less risk and they work for me. You should look into it, its less potent but no side effects.

I've never had an issue, but I know someone who had a bad reaction to it. I think it's worth taking the medication but being aware. Always better to be cautious.

I'd rather deal with occasional heartburn than risk an allergic reaction. I'm going to talk to my doctor about alternatives.
