Sohonos 1mg Capsules have recently been approved for the treatment of Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), a very rare genetic condition where soft tissues turn into bone. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication. What are the side effects like? Has anyone noticed significant improvement in their condition? Are there any long-term effects that we should be aware of? I've read the medical information provided, but I'd love to hear real-life experiences and insights.

I've heard that the FDA has a hotline for reporting side effects as well, 1-800-332-1088. It’s good to have options for reaching out if something serious comes up.

Definitely agree on the vigilance part. I had to switch doctors when mine didn't take my concerns about swelling seriously. Now I have a great doctor who takes every side effect seriously, and my experience is way better.

I've been on Sohonos for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a bit of a roller coaster. The side effects can be tough, especially the skin irritation and dryness, but my doctor has been great about helping me manage them. I've definitely seen some improvement in my mobility, though.

I wonder if there are any support groups for people taking Sohonos. It would be great to have a community to share experiences and tips.
