I am newly diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and my doctor just prescribed Sotalol AF 120mg Tablets. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. How do you manage the dizziness or fatigue if you experience it? Also, are there any tips for taking this medication that you wish you had known sooner? I appreciate any advice or support you can offer. Thank you!

I've been on Sotalol AF for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my heart rhythm. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a couple of weeks. Make sure to take it at the same time every day and stay hydrated!

I had a bad reaction to this. My heart felt really weird, and I ended up in the ER. My heart rate was so slow that it was scary. I had to stop taking it. Everyone is different, but that was my experience.

Good luck with your new meds! Just remember, it's all about finding the right balance and staying in touch with your doctor.

I was really scared of the side effects, but I haven't had any major issues. Just a bit of dizziness here and there. Stay positive, and don't hesitate to talk to your doctor about any concerns.
