I was prescribed Spironolactone 25mg W/hctz 25mg Tab a few months ago to help with my high blood pressure and edema. At first, I was nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. I've been lucky so far and haven't experienced any of the severe symptoms, but I have noticed some mild side effects like dizziness and fatigue. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing these side effects. Has anyone here had to deal with more serious issues? How did you handle it?

I've had a great experience with this medication. It really helps with my edema, and I haven't had any serious side effects. Just a bit of fatigue, but it's manageable. Definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I've been on this medication for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure and swelling. I did have some mild dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your potassium levels, as this drug can affect them.

Has anyone else noticed changes in their menstrual cycle while on this medication? I've heard it can affect hormones.

Keep an eye out for any signs of electrolyte imbalance. I had some muscle weakness initially, but it settled down after a bit. Definitely worth talking to your doctor if you're feeling off.

Be careful with this med. If you ever feel like you can't pass urine, get help fast. I knew someone who had to go to the ER for that.

I’ve been on this for a few months and noticed I get very dizzy when I stand up too fast. Anyone else have this issue?

I started taking this medication and within a week I had to stop. I developed a rash and swelling in my throat. Scariest moment of my life. We switched to a different diuretic and I'm doing much better.

I haven’t had any issues, but my doctor told me to watch out for any mood changes. I do feel a bit more tired than usual, but nothing major.

I’ve been on this combo for a while and it’s helped a lot with my blood pressure. However, I did notice some weird skin changes and had to be extra diligent with sunscreen and skin checks. Worth it though, my docs say it’s kept me from developing skin cancer.

I had to stop taking it because of severe stomach pain. Turns out I had some issue with the pancreas. If you get any severe pain, don't wait it out, go to the doctor immediately.
