I was prescribed SSKI Saturated 1gm/ml Drops to help loosen and thin the mucus in my lungs, and I was hoping for a quick recovery, but I've been taking it for a week now, and I don't see any improvement. I've checked the dosage and I'm doing everything right as instructed by the doctor. But, I am wondering if anybody else has gone through this and if it's normal? Any tips or advice on how to manage this would be greatly appreciated. Also, what are your experiences with SSKI? I want to hear from anyone who has used this before, especially if you had similar issues.

I think you should check your dosage again. SSKI is great and it did a lot for my throat. I used to have a lot of phlegm until the doctor prescribed me SSKI and everything got better.

You should give it more time to start working properly. Do not worry and keep taking it consistently until you start noticing the results. You will see the difference after the first week. Just keep in mind that everybody's body reacts differently to medication.

I am not a doctor, but are you sure you are using it correctly? I would advise using it after washing your mouth and brushing your teeth. You can also use it with liquids that have a neutral pH, and avoid taking it with acidic foods or drinks.

I used to take SSKI. It was prescribed for my respiratory problems, and I got a lot of relief from it, but I have to say it did not taste good at all. It was like swallowing saltwater.

I've used SSKI and it helped me a lot. But I was prescribed a much higher dosage and it was not easy to take. I had to take my drops with juice and it worked.

This medication saved my life when I was diagnosed with a severe case of pneumonia. The doctor prescribed me SSKI and after 2 weeks my lungs were clear.

Have you tried mixing it with honey? It might make it a bit easier to take. I have never taken SSKI, but this is what I do with other medicine that I do not like the taste of. It helps a lot!

I had a similar experience with SSKI. It worked for me but only after a few weeks of taking it consistently. If it's not working for you, you might want to try a nebulizer with it. That's what helped me personally.

I've used SSKI before and found it to be very effective. I would say you might want to talk to your doctor and confirm that your dosage is correct. I was taking 1-1.5 teaspoons four times a day, but what made the biggest difference for me was taking extra care with my hydration. Make sure you are drinking lots of water while on this medication, and consider using a nebulizer if you haven't already.
