I've been using Sumatriptan 5mg Nasal Spray for a few months now to manage my migraines and cluster headaches. It works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and affecting certain nerves, which helps to relieve headache pain and other symptoms like nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. The convenience of the nasal spray is a big plus, but I've been hearing about some serious side effects. I wanted to start this thread to discuss the real experiences people have had with this medication. Are the benefits worth the risks? Have any of you experienced any of the serious side effects mentioned, like serotonin syndrome or brain blood vessel problems?

I switched to the nasal spray after my doctor recommended it. The change has been fantastic; my migraines are less severe, and I don't get the nausea anymore. Definitely worth a try if you're suffering from intense migraines. It’s made a huge difference in my quality of life.

I've had great success with Sumatriptan nasal spray. It kicks in much faster than the pills I used to take. Just make sure to read the package and consult your doctor. The side effects are scary, but I haven't had any issues so far.

Be careful with this stuff and consult your doctor regularly. I've heard some horror stories about side effects. One person was talking about having a stroke. Not something to mess around with!

My doctor recommended it but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I can't believe how expensive it is. I will keep the prescription on file but I can't afford it right now.
