I've been prescribed Taltz 40mg/0.5ml for my psoriatic arthritis. I'm curious about others' experiences with this injectable medicine. How effective has it been for your skin symptoms and joint pain? Have you encountered any of the listed side effects, particularly the urgent ones like allergic reactions or severe infections? What tips do you have for managing the injection process? I've heard the injection site irritation can be a bit uncomfortable, so any advice on that would be great too. Also, how often do you need to use this medication? I want to understand the long-term implications.

I’ve been on Taltz for about 6 months, and the first few weeks were rough with some stomach issues and a bit of a rash. But now, I feel much better. If you’re worried about side effects, just keep an eye on them and talk to your doctor regularly. The benefits have been worth it for me.

Taltz is great, but the injection process can be a bit tricky. I use the Auto Injector and get it over with quickly. It helps to practice deep breathing and distract myself with something. Plus, I love the skin results and the fact that my stiffness has decreased. The tradeoff is totally worth it. I'm happy to report that I haven’t had any major side effects so far.

Has anyone had issues with infections? I'm a bit worried about that since I have a history of infections. What do you guys do to prevent this? I'm thinking about getting a flu shot too just to be safe. I don’t want to risk getting a respiratory infection or anything worse.

Remember, everyone is different. What works for one person might not for another. I had to switch from Enbrel to Taltz and love the results. I also found that my nails started to improve, which was unexpected. So, if your current meds aren't working, it's worth talking to your doc about Taltz.

Taltz has been a game-changer for me. My psoriasis has cleared up significantly, and the joint pain has decreased a lot.

I had a really bad reaction to Taltz. I got severe dizziness and had to stop using it. It was scary, but I'm glad I listened to my body and got help right away.

I had heard that Taltz can take a bit to kick in, so give it a few months, it's working for me.

Is it normal to have a bit of pain when injecting? It’s hard to tell if it’s just the injection or a side effect.

How do you guys deal with the cost? It's pretty expensive and insurance barely covers it.

I've had some injection site irritation, but it's manageable. Just rotate your injection sites and use a cold compress if it gets too bad. Also, I've noticed some mild upset stomach but nothing too terrible.
