Planning a trip from Albania to Croatia? I'm thinking of taking the overland route from Tirana to Dubrovnik. Has anyone done this before? What are the must-see stops along the way? I'm especially interested in the coastal towns and any hidden gems that might not be in the typical guidebooks. Also, any tips on border crossings, local etiquette, or must-try foods would be greatly appreciated! I'm aiming to make the best of both countries and have an unforgettable experience. Any advice or recommendations would be super helpful!

The drive from Tirana to Dubrovnik is incredible, but you should also plan some rest stops and breaks to fully enjoy the natural beauty along the way. Also, try to learn a few basic phrases in Albanian—it goes a long way with locals. The locals will love it and you might get some free samples of local food. Plus, they'll appreciate your effort!

I did this trip last year and it was incredible. The border crossing from Albania to Montenegro can be a bit of a hassle, so make sure you have all your documents in order. Also, don't miss out on the national park in Croatia near Dubrovnik, it's beautiful. The locals in Albania are super friendly and they speak very good English.

The drive from Tirana to Dubrovnik is absolutely stunning. You should definitely stop in Kotor, Montenegro, on your way. The old town is breathtaking and the bay is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

The overland route is definitely the way to go. You'll get to see so much more than if you fly. Just be prepared for some winding roads and slow border crossings. It's worth it, though!

Sounds like an amazing trip! Don't miss out on the Albanian Riviera. Saranda and Himara have some of the best beaches I've ever seen. Plus, the food in Albania is fantastic—try some tava kosi.

Nothing compares to the coastal towns in Croatia, they are stunning. The food in Croatia, especially in Dubrovnik, is amazing too. Definitely try the seafood and some local desserts.
