Thyroid (Armour) 4gr (240mg) Tabs: Has anyone experienced significant hair loss with these?
I've been on Thyroid (Armour) 4gr (240mg) Tabs for a few months now, and I'm noticing some hair loss. The side effects say this could be temporary, but I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. How long did it take for your hair to grow back? Also, has anyone experienced any other unusual side effects?

I had severe heart palpitations with Armour. I switched to Synthroid and it went away, but everyone is different. It’s a bummer how much trial and error it takes to get the right stuff.
That’s weird, I’ve been taking it for 5 years and no hair loss. Maybe it’s something else going on. Remember to drink plenty of water and take biotin
I think it's worth mentioning that hair loss can be caused by a lot of things, so it might not be the meds. I'd talk to your doctor and see what they say. I know it's tough, but it can help to keep the weight off.
I felt like crap for the first few months but got better, be patient. The side effects are really annoying right now but they will ease off
I had hair loss too, but it stopped after a few months. It was pretty scary at first, so I totally get it and sympathize. Hang in there and get blood work done just in case.
I feel like these meds have a lot of side effects, but it's better than dealing with hypothyroidism without any treatment. I'm just glad they’re out there
Seriously the hair loss is no joke. I had to get a wig. It's grown back a bit since I switched to a different thyroid med, but it's still not the same. My doc said it's not uncommon with Armour. I can't believe I'm hearing this.
I've been on Armour for a year and didn't experience any hair loss. I wouldn't fret too much, it could be the stress of adjusting to a new medication. It might just take a couple of months for your hormones to stabilize. Just keep an eye on it and make sure to bring it up to your doctor
I had a similar issue with mood swings. It took a while to find the right dosage, but now I feel much better. Hang in there, it gets better.
I switched to Nature-Throid and that helped with the hair loss. Just something to consider if it doesn't get better.
