Ever feel like your bladder runs your life? I've been taking Trospium Cl 60mg ER Capsules to manage my overactive bladder, and while they've helped with the frequent urination, I've had some side effects like dry mouth and constipation. I've seen some of the side effects can be severe and potentially life-threatening so I am a bit worried. Has anyone else had issues with this, or should I just be glad the medication is working at all?.

I hate how bad the dry mouth is. I feel like I can't get rid of it. I wish I could brush my teeth 20 times a day. It makes it hard to talk to people as well

I was really worried about the possibility of a UTI when I first started taking these. I ended up getting a checkup just to be safe, and luckily, I was clear of infection.

Despite the side effects, I'm sticking with Trospium. It's the only thing that's made a noticeable difference in my bladder control. Just be vigilant about monitoring for the more serious side effects.

I had to stop taking these because I started sweating profusely every time I exercised. It was really strange and uncomfortable.

I barely sweat anymore—definitely an issue being outside in the summer. I’ve been trying to stay hydrated and cool, but it’s a bit of a struggle. My doctor told me that this may happen, and I might need to switch to a different treatment if it gets worse. Thanks for sharing the info.

Really? I haven't heard of anyone having hallucinations from this. That sounds terrifying. I had a really bad case of constipation, and the doctor suggested increasing my fiber intake, and it helped quite a bit.

I’ve experienced hallucinations with this medicine. I'm considering switching to a different treatment.

Can anyone recommend any good ways to deal with the headaches? I felt like I tried everything and nothing worked.

I've been on these for a year now, and yes, the dry mouth is awful, but it's a small price to pay for not having to rush to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Try sucking on sugar-free candies or chewing gum to help with the dry mouth.

Just started Trospium and I can't believe how much better I feel. No more constant trips to the bathroom! Fingers crossed, the side effects stay mild.
