I've been prescribed Tykerb 250mg Tablets to treat my HER2-positive breast cancer. The medication has been helping my condition, but I've been experiencing some side effects that are a bit concerning. I've read the list of possible side effects, but I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with these issues. Is anyone else experiencing dry skin, headaches, or diarrhea? I've been trying to manage the symptoms, but I'd love to hear some tips from others who have been through this. What are some of the side effects you've experienced and how have you coped with them? Also curious about how long it took for anyone to adjust to the medication. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and insights!

I had diarrhea and stomach cramps for a couple of weeks, but everything levelled out after that. This stuff works, though, so it's definitely worth pushing through the side effects.

Had the same experience, I even had to wear gloves to bed which sounds weird, but it really helped. Gotta do what you can to keep your skin from getting irritated

I’m on my third week of Tykerb, and I can actually feel the difference. The side effects are tough, but the information my doctor provided really helps. Keep an eye out for anything really weird, and seek help right away!

My hands and feet got super red and irritated. What a nightmare! I had to use this special hand cream and foot cream every day and it made a big difference. My advice? As soon as you notice any skin issues, get to a doctor and get the right supplies right away. If you're already experiencing this, get some of these creams, you need them!

I've been on Tykerb for a few months now, and the dry skin has been brutal. I've had to stock up on heavy-duty moisturizers. The headaches were manageable with over-the-counter pain relief, but the diarrhea was a bit tougher. My oncologist recommended a low-fiber diet and Imodium for the bad days. It’s definitely a balance, but it’s worth it if it’s helping with your cancer treatment.

I thought I might be out of line, but all the weird things I've been feeling and seeing to me looked like a skin rash, turns out it was my skin reaction to Tykerb. So if you're seeing weird skin things, that's another thing to look into.

I never stuck with the medication because the side effects were too much. My doctor said it’s different for everyone, so it might be worth sticking around for a few more weeks. You never know how things will go!

I had a friend who was on Tykerb and ended up with a severe allergic reaction. It’s scary, but definitely worth knowing the signs and symptoms. Stick with your doctor and medical team. They can be a big help in situations like these.
