I was recently prescribed Trimethoprim 100mg Tablets for a urinary tract infection. I've heard that side effects can be common, so I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences. How many of you have dealt with side effects like diarrhea or more severe ones? I've been lucky so far, but I'm still a bit worried about possible reactions. Any insights or stories would be really helpful. Also, I'm curious to know how long it typically takes for the antibiotic to start working. Does it vary from person to person?

Unfortunately, I am not surprised to hear it is this way. I've had them for years, and not a single one has been pleasant. This goes beyond just about everything else. I have had to deal with chronic issues for years and it is really just not fun. I just want a routine that works for me.
I have had issues with high blood pressure and things like this are bad news. I feel like I am the only one who is dealing with this. I just want something to work. I feel like things just go bad for me. I am not sure what to do. I know that I need antibiotics. I need to get better. I just want this to work.
I've never had UTIs. I don't really know what to do. I mean, I do know the symptoms, I have heard too much about it from my friends. But what if it is about something else? How do you know it is a UTI? There are too many things that can go wrong.
This makes me so nervous. I just had to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy. I feel like I am going to be sick from the thought.
