I was recently prescribed Valsartan 20mg/5ml to manage my high blood pressure. The initial adjustment period was rough, with some dizziness and fatigue. However, the doctor assured me these were normal side effects for the first few weeks. I'm now on week 4 and gradually feeling better, but I still experience mild back pain and occasional joint pain. I've been reading about potential side effects and was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. In you do please share what helped you. I've also found some good advice on how to mitigate these. Has anyone got any advice for me? I've found eating smaller, more frequent meals helps to manage the stomach pain, and staying hydrated throughout the day really helps with the fatigue. I'm curious to hear what others have experienced and how they've coped. It's always helpful to know you're not alone in this journey.

I had horrible bad leg swelling. After reporting it to my doctor, they changed my dosage to 40mg/5ml. It's helped a lot, but I still have to monitor closely as my kidneys can be finicky.

I've found that exercising regularly helps with the fatigue and overall well-being. Just don't overdo it—listen to your body.

Stay away from high-potassium foods like bananas and spinach. Trust me, you'll avoid a lot of trouble if you do.

I switched to this medication after my doctor found that I was developing high potassium levels. After a few weeks, my potassium levels returned to normal.

Is anyone experiencing changes in vision? I've had some blurriness, and it's a bit concerning. Has anyone else dealt with this?

I've had back pain and joint pain too. My doctor recommended over-the-counter pain relievers. It helps a bit, but it's still a struggle.

I'm on week 5 and still feel really tired. My doctor says it's normal, but I wish it would go away faster. Does anyone know if this fatigue ever goes away completely?

I had severe dizziness for the first two weeks. Make sure to stand up slowly and stay hydrated. It should pass with time.
