I recently started using Varenicline (apo) 1mg Tablets to help me quit smoking, and I've had a mix of positive and negative experiences. I wanted to share my journey and get some advice from others who might have gone through the same process. Varenicline is a medication designed to reduce nicotine cravings and make smoking less enjoyable, which helps a lot in the quitting process. However, I've experienced some side effects that have been a bit concerning. I've had vivid dreams and trouble sleeping, which can be quite unsettling. I'm curious to know if others have had similar experiences and how they managed to cope. On the other hand, the medication has been incredibly effective in reducing my nicotine cravings, which has made the quitting process a lot easier. If you've used Varenicline or have advice for managing its side effects (or quitting smoking in general), I'd love to hear from you!

This is some scary stuff. I've had hallucinations before and I just don't want to deal with any of this again. Varenicline isn't worth risking mental issues.

I've been on Varenicline for 3 months and I'm going strong so far. I'm going to my first visit with my doctor next week to see how it's going, I'm nervous but excited to see if I can quit for good.

I had a friend who ended up in the hospital because of severe skin reactions. Be careful, and if you notice anything weird, get to a doctor ASAP. Trust me, it's worth it!

Glad to hear you're sticking with it, OP. Quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health. I wish you the best of luck!

I took Chantix and had a similar experience with vivid dreams, but I wasn't as bothered by them. Instead, I just stopped smoking completely and started working out more. I think it's worth a try if you can tolerate the side effects. Good luck!

I'm glad you've found some success with Varenicline. I had a similar experience with the side effects, but my doctor suggested taking it before bed and it seemed to help with the dreams. Just remember to stick with it even if you have some weird side effects, because it's working!

Dreams aside, how did you find the taste of it? Everyone says it sucks but mine wasn't that bad.

I was on Varenicline for a week and the mood swings were unbearable. Had to quit. Just me or is it the same for anyone else?

I tried Varenicline for a month and it was a game-changer. My cravings were almost non-existent, but the vivid dreams were something else. I remembered dreaming I was solving math problems all night! If you do get bad dreams, just make sure to remember that it's only temporary and it won't be too bad.
