I've been prescribed Venlafaxine ER 37.5mg Capsules for my anxiety disorder. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. What side effects have you experienced, and how did you manage them? The list of possible side effects is long, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm particularly worried about the more serious ones like serotonin syndrome and bleeding. Has anyone had to deal with any of these, and if so, how? Also, how long does it typically take to notice improvements in mood and anxiety levels? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed that the extended-release formulation made it easier to manage side effects than the immediate-release version I was on before. The biggest downside for me was the sexual side effects, which were really tough to deal with. Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about it.

I've been taking Venlafaxine for a while and initially had difficulty with nausea, but it subsided after the first few weeks. It's a bit of a journey but worth it when you find the right balance.

Please be careful, especially with the serotonin syndrome. It's a serious condition, and you should be aware of the symptoms. If you have any doubts, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

I've been on Venlafaxine for about six months now, and while it's definitely helped with my anxiety, the side effects were a bit of a struggle at first. I had some pretty bad insomnia and vivid dreams, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and things have gotten better.

I feel like I've been on every antidepressant and this one has worked for me the best. The trade-off of the side effects is worth it for the relief from anxiety.

I had a mild case of the shakes when I started, but it went away after a couple of weeks. Now I feel more balanced and less anxious. Just give it some time, and keep an open dialogue with your doctor. It can make a big difference.

Dry mouth, dizziness, and constipation are the worst. I drink a lot of water and use stool softeners to manage.
