Visken 5mg Tablets: My Experience with Pindolol for High Blood Pressure and Angina
I was recently prescribed Visken 5mg Tablets (Pindolol) for high blood pressure and angina. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'd love to know more about people's real-life experiences. How has it affected your daily life? Have you noticed any significant changes in your blood pressure or heart rate? I've been a bit nervous about the potential for severe side effects, like allergic reactions or abnormal heartbeats. Has anyone else had to deal with those? I'd also love to hear some tips on managing any side effects that might come up. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

I stopped taking Visken after a week because I had a really bad reaction. I developed hives and had trouble breathing. Scary stuff. Turns out I'm allergic to some ingredients in the tablets. It was a call to the emergency department, not something to be messed with. Just be really careful and listen to your body.
Visken helped me a lot with my angina, but I did experience some nervousness and excitability at first. It was a bit concerning, but my doctor said it's a known side effect and it should fade with time. Fortunately, he was right, and I haven't had any issues since.
Sorry to hear that! I've had a bit of muscle pain, but my doctor said it's a common side effect. I try to stay active and stretch regularly to help with it. Anyone else dealing with joint pain? How do you manage?
I had to switch to a different beta-blocker because I couldn't tolerate the upset stomach. I would definitely talk to your doctor if you can't tolerate some of the side effects.
I started Visken a month ago and I've had some sleep disturbances. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been tough, but I'm hoping it gets better with time.
