It’s not cheap, but I’m glad I’m getting the care I need. Do any of you know if there’s some sort of insurance plan that covers this stuff?
This stuff is crazy. Give it a shot to manage symptoms
I’m on Octreotide for acromegaly, and it’s been a game-changer. My growth hormone levels are finally under control, and the worst of my symptoms have eased up. I did have some issues with gallbladder problems and weight loss, but my doctor helped manage them. It’s tough, but I finally feel like I have a handle on this. Just keep an eye on your thyroid levels and don’t jump to any conclusions. It’s normal to experience some side effects, but if you feel like you’ve got a problem, it’s a good idea to go to the doctor. Seek medical help right away if you notice any signs of high blood pressure or chest pain. You need a medical expert to help you manage any issues.
