I was recently prescribed Octreotide 0.2mg/ml Injectable for managing severe diarrhea and flushing symptoms caused by carcinoid syndrome. I'm on my second month of treatment and have noticed a significant reduction in symptoms. However, the injection site can get pretty sore. I've been using a cold compress to ease the discomfort. Have any of you experienced issues with Octreotide side effects? How do you cope? Any tips for making the injections less painful would be greatly appreciated.
