I was prescribed Aranesp for anemia as a result of chronic kidney disease. The doctor made the treatment look like a walk in the park. However, reading the list of possible side effects, I must confess I'm a tad worried. I wanted to start a conversation, and see what other users' experiences are and what precautions I should take.

I've been on Aranesp for a while now, and honestly? I feel like I hit the jackpot with the side effects because I barely felt anything. But I'm always wary of feeling too good to be safe.

I had a friend who experienced a weird allergic reaction. It was terrifying, and I feel like I should warn everyone to be careful and stay aware.

I think this medication could be a savior for people with anemia, but the side effects are something to consider. Check with your doctor first, I guess.

I had no idea Aranesp had such severe potential side effects. I would be more careful about it. I haven't had any side effects, but I can feel the fear.

Talk to your doctor about the risks. If you're dealing with anemia, it might be worth it, but we all have to be smart about our health. We can't let our bodies suffer.
