My doctor prescribed Aspirin-Dipyridamole ER 25/200mg C after a recent stroke. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? Did you have any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm really hoping this will help prevent another stroke, but I'm also worried about the potential risks. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t let the side effects scare you too much. For me, the headaches were bad, but they went away. Also, if you get sudden dizziness, talk to your doc right away.

My sister was on this post-stroke and had no issues. She took it with food and had no stomach problems at all. Definitely a good med if it works well for you.

My dad was on this after his stroke, and while he had some stomach upset, it was manageable. It’s a bit scary seeing all those serious warnings, but he’s been okay on it so far. Good luck!

Stay positive but cautious. If you ever experience confused thoughts or memory loss, go to the ER immediately. It’s scary, but knowing the risks can help you stay prepared.

I've been on this for a year now. It’s been a lifesaver. No major side effects for me, just a bit of heartburn sometimes. The peace of mind knowing it’s preventing another stroke is worth it.

I had a mini-stroke and was prescribed this. The headaches were bad at first, but they went away after a few weeks. Just keep an eye on any unusual symptoms and call your doctor if you notice anything weird.

Definitely talk to your doctor about the side effects. They can give you tips on managing them. For instance, taking it with food might help with stomach issues. Just be vigilant about any symptoms that could be serious.

One of my relatives had to deal with constant headaches and stomach issues. They ended up switching to something else. It's tough, but it might be worth it for the peace of mind. Good luck though!

I've been on this for a few months now, and honestly, the headaches were killer at first. But they've eased up a lot. Just make sure to keep an eye out for any bleeding issues.
