I was recently prescribed Phenergan 12.5mg Suppositories for severe nausea and vomiting and then discovered that they can also help with allergy symptoms. I'm having a hard time finding a good balance, however, as I'm experiencing some side effects. What are some strategies for managing these side effects, and should I be concerned? Dealing with side effects is stressing me out, any advice on how to navigate this?

I felt like I was in a daze the whole time I was on it. Just be careful and communicate with your doc. If they prescribed it, they probably know what they're doing.

I've had to use Phenergan during chemotherapy and it helped with the nausea but kept me groggy for a day afterward. It was a tough trade-off, but worth it for the relief it provided. Where are you finding the side effects the most bothersome?

Dude, this stuff worked great for me but then I had hallucinations. That was a wild night. I think I'd avoid it for future cases.

Phenergan can be a lifesaver for severe nausea, but it's important to monitor for side effects. If you're experiencing any neurological symptoms like confusion or altered mental state, seek medical attention immediately. This is serious! Mood changes and hallucinations are not to be taken lightly.

I wasn't a huge fan of the suppository form. Any reason you're using that rather than pills?

Phenergan can help with hives and itching, but it's essential to be aware of the potential side effects. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, hives, or swelling of the face, seek medical help right away. Be careful out there!
