I've been prescribed Xanax XR 1mg Tablets for my panic disorder and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it worked for you? What side effects have you experienced, if any? I'm especially interested to know how the extended-release formula compares to other benzodiazepines. Has anyone had issues with dizziness or drowsiness? My doctor mentioned some serious side effects to watch out for, so I'm a bit nervous. Any advice on how to manage anxiety besides medication? I want to avoid over-realying on drugs, but my condition is really bad right now.

Be careful with this stuff. I took it for a while and ended up gaining a ton of weight and dealing with insomnia. Not worth it for me.

I wish I could just take a pill and never have to worry about panic attacks again, but it's not that simple. I think therapy should be part of the treatment plan too.
