I've recently started taking Zoledronic 4mg/100ml Inj for cancer that has spread to my bones. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? I've heard it can cause some serious side effects, so I'm particularly interested in hearing about those. Also, have you noticed any significant benefits or improvements in your bone health? How long did it take to see any positive effects? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What's the point of all those side effects anyway? I can't believe you have to deal with all that just to keep your bones healthy.

I had a really bad reaction to my first infusion—severe muscle pain and vomiting. They had to stop the infusion early. My doctor said it might have been an overdose, so we're going to try a lower dose next time. If you have any severe reactions, get it checked ASAP.

Interesting thread! I didn't know Zoledronic acid could cause such severe side effects. I hope it's worth it for the bone health benefits.

My mom is on this drug, and she's had really bad joint pain. It's been rough, but she's managing with pain meds. Just wanted to let people know it's not just about bone health—the joint pain can be intense.

I think the worst part for me was the flu-like symptoms. I felt like I had the worst flu ever for a couple of days. But it passed, and my bones feel a lot stronger now.

I've been on Zoledronic acid for about a year now. The first few infusions were tough with some serious flu-like symptoms and muscle pain. But my oncologist warned me about that, and it passed after a few days. I've noticed my bones feel stronger, and I haven’t had any fractures since starting the treatment. The key is staying hydrated and taking it easy for a few days post-infusion.

Just finished my third infusion. The first two were rough but manageable. I'm worried about the flu side effects. My doctor suggested taking some ibuprofen and drinking lots of fluids to help.

I've had some serious kidney problems with this medication. It's scary. If you start having issues with passing urine or feeling dizzy, don’t ignore it. Get to a doctor immediately.
