What's the point of all those side effects anyway? I can't believe you have to deal with all that just to keep your bones healthy.
I had a really bad reaction to my first infusion—severe muscle pain and vomiting. They had to stop the infusion early. My doctor said it might have been an overdose, so we're going to try a lower dose next time. If you have any severe reactions, get it checked ASAP.

My mom is on this drug, and she's had really bad joint pain. It's been rough, but she's managing with pain meds. Just wanted to let people know it's not just about bone health—the joint pain can be intense.
I think the worst part for me was the flu-like symptoms. I felt like I had the worst flu ever for a couple of days. But it passed, and my bones feel a lot stronger now.

The key is staying hydrated and taking it easy for a few days post-infusion.
Just finished my third infusion. The first two were rough but manageable. I'm worried about the flu side effects. My doctor suggested taking some ibuprofen and drinking lots of fluids to help.
I've had some serious kidney problems with this medication. It's scary. If you start having issues with passing urine or feeling dizzy, don’t ignore it. Get to a doctor immediately.
