I've been prescribed Zolmitriptan 2.5mg Tablets for my migraines, and I've had a mix of good and bad experiences. On the plus side, they do relieve my migraines and help with nausea and light sensitivity. There are some concerning side effects to be aware of, the worst being a tightness in my chest that made me worry it might be a heart attack. It turns out that that is a potential side effect. I've also read some really scary stories about serotonin syndrome. I'm curious to hear from anyone else who has taken these and what your experiences have been. docs said not to worry about the tightness in my chest next time but I'm not sure if I can take it.

I take the 5mg version. The 2.5mg version made me feel dizzy and I got some weird, numb, prickly feeling in my fingers. anything to keep those migraines away.

Ive had a few migraine medications and I think this might be the worst. I felt like I was going to die taking this stuff. Dizziness, weakness, and this really scary feeling in my chest. Doc said the tightness is a side effect. I’m never taking this again.

Be careful with these. I had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER with chest pain. Turns out it was a side effect, but it was scary. I felt like I was having a heart attack. I've switched to a different medication now.

I feel like these saved my life after the birth of my first child. I used to get really bad migraines but since I was nursing I couldn't really take any medication. I felt like I was going crazy. I FINALLY was able to try these and it was like a miracle. I was almost in tears how good they worked. But also, so scared that I wouldn't know if I was having a heart attack or not. I'm going to reach out to my doc to get some medical advice on the tightness in my chest.
