My experience with Visipaque 320mg/ml Inj for CT scan and my scary side effects

I recently had to get a CT scan and the doctor injected me with Visipaque 320mg/ml Inj. The scan went well, but I was surprised and a little scared because I experienced some side effects. While most were minor, a few were more serious. I looked up the possible side effects and the list was a lot longer than I expected. I wanted to share my experience and see if others had similar reactions. I also want to know if anyone has experienced any long term side effects, or how to manage them. I was really scared when I was having these symptoms. What did you do when you had the side effects?

Visipaque 270mg/ml Inj, 100ml: What You Need to Know About This Contrast Dye Used in CT Scans and Angiograms

I'd like to share some information about Visipaque 270mg/ml Inj, 100ml, a contrast dye used during X-ray tests like CT scans or angiograms. It's essential for doctors to see blood vessels and organs more clearly on the images, which helps them diagnose medical conditions. It's given as an injection into a vein. There are several possible side effects, ranging from mild to severe. Mild side effects include feeling warm or irritation at the injection site. Unfortunately, some severe side effects can be life-threatening. If you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as a rash, hives, itching, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical help. Kidney and thyroid problems can also occur, as well as chest pain, fast heartbeat, and severe dizziness. In rare cases, it can cause severe skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). It's crucial to be aware of these potential side effects and report them to your doctor or the FDA if necessary. Have any of you had experience with this dye? Were there any side effects to be aware of?

Iodixanol 320mg/ml Inj, 200ml: My experience with this contrast agent during a CT scan

I recently had a CT scan where the radiologist used Iodixanol 320mg/ml Inj, 200ml as the contrast agent. I was a bit nervous because I've heard horror stories about adverse effects from contrast agents but this dye is generally considered very safe. The injection site was sore afterwards, but it was manageable. I felt a bit warm after the injection, but that was it. I wasn't expecting anything serious. I had no symptoms or problems that the doctor mentioned as urgent. It turns out I didn't need to worry at all. My big question is: how many of you have had similar experiences? I'm curious to know if anyone else felt that 'feeling of warmth' after the injection, and if it was as mild as mine.
