I was recently prescribed Ribasphere 200mg Capsules as part of my treatment for chronic hepatitis C. The medication is used in combination with other antirviral drugs to stop the virus from multiplying. While I am grateful for the treatment, I have experienced some significant side effects, including severe anemia and flu-like symptoms. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has gone through something similar. I think the most important thing to note about Ribasphere is the risk of serious birth defects to one's future offspring - so strict birth control is required for both men and women during and for 6 months after treatment. Has anyone here dealt with anemia and the associated fatigue? Also, I had no idea that it could affect one's vision. It's a bit scary. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. What were your experiences like? And if you're a medical professional, any tips for managing the side effects would be appreciated
