Naproxen Dr/ec 375mg Tablets: My Experience with Delayed-Release/Enteric-Coated Naproxen
I was prescribed Naproxen Dr/ec 375mg Tablets for a bad flare of arthritis pain and inflammation. I've used other NSAIDs like ibuprofen in the past but never Naproxen in any form. So far, I've found the enteric coating honestly helps with the nausea that I often experience with other NSAIDs. I trust we can all agree that this is not a perfect medication, and while the 'DR/EC' form works better for me, I'm still experiencing dizziness and some headache. The delayed-release aspect is a noticeable difference, but I'm curious to know how others have found this medication. I've been on them for about a week so far. Has anyone had any issues with severe side effects? I've heard about the liver problems and severe skin reactions but I'm curious to hear if anyone has had any of these other issues. Should I be worried about any signs of bleeding or severe symptoms? On the other hand, Naproxen has been great for inflammation, but I'm weighing the risks. It's a tough call since I have a history of stomach problems and don't want to switch back because of severe side effects.
