My pediatrician prescribed Cefzil for my child's ear infection, and it has been a nightmare. The kid has had diarrhea for days. This is the first time we've used this antibiotic, and I was shocked with the side effects. I have read CDAD is rare, but still scary. Is this common? Is my kid going to be okay? I have called the doctor, but haven't heard back yet. Anyone who has been through this, please share your experience.

So, my newborn was prescribed Ilotycin Ophth Oint 3.5gm to prevent eye infections.
