I've been struggling with sunburn this summer and was recommended Anecream 4% Kit by a friend. I've used it a few times, and it seems to help, but I'm curious about others' experiences. The packaging says it's for minor burns and sunburn. I already know some people have allergic reactions to it, but the list of other possible side effects seems daunting to me. Has anyone else had any issues? I've also read that it may cause a rare condition called methemoglobinemia, which sounds pretty serious. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'd love to hear both good and bad experiences.

I used it for a nasty insect bite on my leg. It numbed the area well, but I felt a bit lightheaded afterward. I think I might have used too much, though.

I used it to relieve pain from a small burn a few years back. It was fine. I don't understand why everyone's getting so worried by the side effects. I mean, it's a pretty common ingredient in lots of medicines.

Has anyone had any issues with feeling confused or dizzy? I've heard that can happen with lidocaine.

I used it on a bad sunburn last year and it worked like a charm. No side effects at all. Just be careful not to use too much – a little goes a long way!

I'm really concerned. A friend told me that lidocaine can cause some pretty scary skin reactions. I mean, you can end up with blistered and peeling skin. I'll be sure to ask my doctor before using it.

I applied it to a small cut and it stung like heck. Didn't do much for the pain afterward either. I think I'll stick to hydrocortisone next time.

Anecream 4% Kit is great, but I've had bad experiences with other lidocaine products. I had a weird tingling that didn't go away for hours. Maybe I overdid it, but it was pretty scary to me.

Be careful with it. I used it once and got a rash. It was awful. Here's a tip: always do a patch test first to make sure you're not allergic.

I've used it for a mild burn and it worked wonders
