I've just been prescribed Quinapril 5mg Tablets to help manage my high blood pressure. High potassium levels can be a real issue. Make sure to watch your diet and avoid high-potassium foods. If you feel any of the symptoms (like weakness and confusion), get checked out ASAP.
Be careful with this one. I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction after just a couple of doses. If you notice any signs like rash, swelling, or trouble breathing, go straight to the ER.
I got really dizzy when I first started taking it. My doctor told me to get up slowly from sitting or lying down and it helped a lot. Also, I get my blood pressure checked every month.
I’m on the fence about this one. I’ve heard mixed reviews, but I think I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes.
Persistent cough is a real side effect. I had it for a while but luckily, it went away, but it was one of the hardest things to deal with.
I switched to Quinapril from another ACE inhibitor and it made a big difference. My blood pressure has been much more stable.
