I've been prescribed Loratadine ODT 10mg Tablets for my seasonal allergies, and I must say, the convenience of the orally disintegrating tablet is a game-changer. No more struggling with water during a sneezing fit! But I've been wondering if anyone else has experienced any unexpected side effects? I've heard the usual stuff like headaches and feeling sleepy, but are there any more serious issues I should be aware of? I've also seen mentions of severe allergic reactions. How common are these, and what should I do if I notice any signs?

Always good to hear about people's experiences with different meds. I've had a bit of a headache after taking it, too.

I find the tablet a bit too strong, especially when I feel like having to deal with allergies for the first time. I feel drowsy during the day. It's manageable, but not ideal for someone who has a very active lifestyle. It's been a while since I've taken it.

I had a really bad reaction to Loratadine the first time I took it. I broke out in hives and my throat felt tight. I went to the ER and they told me it was an allergic reaction. I've stuck to cetirizine since then. Be careful, especially if you have any history of allergies to other medications.

I've been using Loratadine ODT for a while now, and I've found it to be really effective. The tablets dissolve super quickly and I've had no issues. I recommend taking them before bed so if you experience any drowsiness, it's during sleep. It's been a lifesaver for my seasonal allergies.

I used to take regular loratadine, but I switched to the ODT because of the convenience. It's been great, no side effects, and I find it works better for me.

I've been taking Loratadine ODT for a year now. It's great for my allergies, but I have occasional drowsiness during the day. I suggest taking it at night.
