I recently had a stress test using Regadenoson 0.4mg/5ml Inj, 5ml. The injection helped the doctors see how well blood flows through my heart, which is great, but I've been wondering about the side effects. The nurse mentioned some serious ones to watch out for, like allergic reactions and abnormal heartbeats. I also experienced some flushing and a slight headache. I'm curious if anyone else has had this drug and what their experience was like, especially with the side effects? I want to know more about what to watch for and how to manage any potential issues. Does anyone have insights on the severity or duration of these side effects? How did your doctor explain the medication and what to expect?

I had the medication to check for blood flow to the heart. I'd never had a heart issue, but the doctor said it was important to get a baseline test. I just went into it not knowing what to expect. I had a bit of nausea, but the doctor said it happens and it will fade. They were right.

I had this too! The flushing was quite intense, but it only lasted a few minutes. Definitely weird, though.

I had a mild allergic reaction when I got Regadenoson. My doctor advised me to expect a feeling of warmth. Mine was more like a hot flash and I felt kinda dizzy. No big deal, but worth noting. My doctor said it's common and I had no other issues.

I had the flare effect and stomach pain. Doc gave me something for stomach discomfort. It wasn't fun, but not life threatening. Regadenoson is an important test and worth it. Just be prepared.

This thread is making me worried. Is one person getting to many side effects and I should know about it?

I was so scared before the test. I kept reading the side effects and got overwhelmed. Turns out, I had a slight headache and that was it. My doctor assured me these side effects are normal and shouldn't last long. The test did show some blockage in my heart, but I'm now considering options to remedy this in the near future.

The nurse said it was common, but the side effects went away quickly. I do remember I had a bad headache after. I just took a Tylenol and that fixed it.

I had a stroke and got Regadenoson to test for any blockage. The doctor said it's a good and safe way to get the job done, even if it has to be injected. They made it sound simple. She said she has patients who take it with no problems. She gave me a list of side effects and said to go to the hospital if I had an allergic reaction.

I had some issues with chest pain after the test. I got worried but the doctor said it was normal. I had to rest a lot after the test. I read the list of possible side effects and I'm glad I did. I wish I had read them before the test. It would have helped to know what to expect.
