So, I've been prescribed Gavilyte-G Solution 4000ml to prep for my upcoming colonoscopy. I've heard horror stories about the prep process, and I'm really nervous. Has anyone else gone through this? What can I expect? I want to make sure I am prepared for all side effects and possible issues that might come up. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been given MoviPrep to clean out my colon for an upcoming colonoscopy. I've heard it's pretty intense, and I'm a bit nervous. Does anyone have any tips or advice on what to expect? How bad is the nausea and how long does it last? Also, I've seen some scary side effects listed. How common are severe reactions? I want to be prepared but not worried sick. If anyone has gone through this, I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you have! I’m drinking the first bottle tonight and the second tomorrow, so I’m looking for any advice at all.

I've had to use Nulytely Solution With Flavor Pack for a colonoscopy prep, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The solution is supposed to help clean out your colon, but it felt like it was trying to clean out my entire body. The frequent, watery bowel movements were unbearable, and I felt like I was constantly dehydrated despite drinking all that liquid. The flavor packs barely helped. I had mild stomach cramps and nausea, but thankfully, none of the severe side effects. I had to take the day off work, and even then, I wasn't sure I could do it all again. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any tips for making this process more bearable?
