Parents, have you used Midazolam 2mg/ml Syrup for your kids' medical procedures? What was your experience like?
I recently found out that my kids will need to take Midazolam 2mg/ml Syrup before a minor procedure. The doctor said it will help them relax and even forget the procedure, which sounds great. I'm just curious if any other parents have used this and what their experience was like? How did your kids react to it? Were there any side effects? I'm trying to prepare myself for what to expect.
I've read about the potential side effects, and I'm a bit worried about the more serious ones, like allergic reactions or suicidal thoughts. Are these really as rare as the doctor made them out to be?
Also, how long does it usually take for the medication to wear off? I want to make sure my kids are fully alert and back to normal before we leave the medical facility.
