I've been prescribed Claravis 20mg Capsules for severe acne that hasn't responded to other treatments. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like birth defects, mood changes, and liver problems. Has anyone else taken this medication? I was recently prescribed Claravis 40mg Capsules (Isotretinoin) for my severe acne that just wouldn't go away with other treatments. Has anyone else used this medication? I'm on week 3 and I'm experiencing some pretty intense side effects like dry skin and lips. I'm also feeling pretty tired all the time. I know these are common, but I'm curious to know if anyone else had similar experiences or if these symptoms got better over time? I've been trying to keep up with moisturizer and drinking tons of water. My dermatologist warned me about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones like liver problems and depression. I'm just hoping the benefits outweigh the risks. I also have to take weekly pregnancy tests because of the teratogenic effects. It's a lot to manage, but I'm hoping it's worth it in the end. My acne has improved a bit, but the side effects are pretty rough.
