Dentist prescribed me Prevident 5000 Enamel Mint Paste for tooth sensitivity. Has anyone else used it? Worth the crazy price?
Hey everyone, my dentist just prescribed me Prevident 5000 Enamel Mint Paste to help with my sensitivity and prevent cavities. The fluoride sounds great for my tooth enamel, and I'm hoping the potassium nitrate helps with the pain from hot and cold foods. But it's literally 20 times the price of regular toothpaste! Has anyone else tried this, and if so, how was your experience? Is the high price justified? Also, it looks like it has some pretty serious possible side effects. I'm trying not to worry, but any insights are appreciated.
